Piper Alderman recruits health and life sciences partner
National law firm Piper Alderman has added a new corporate partner who specialises in the health and life sciences sector.

Lis Boyce will officially join the firm from Monday (1 Feburary 2021). She brings with her an admirable client base, having advised a broad range of start-up and ASX-listed clients.
Throughout her career, Ms Boyce has also advised local subsidiaries of international life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing and logistics companies, and works closely with a number of not-for-profit organisations on their governance and strategic projects, a statement from Piper Alderman explained.
“As Deputy Chair of AusMedtech’s National Advisory Group and a member of AusBiotech’s NSW committee, Lis has been deeply involved in the life sciences sector, including chairing the AusBiotech task force which wrote the ‘Guide for Directors of Life Sciences Companies’ and contributing to AusBiotech’s ‘Guide to Life Sciences Investing’,” the statement added.
Commenting on the appointment of Ms Boyce, Piper Alderman managing partner Tony Britten-Jones said he was delighted to welcome a partner of such calibre to the firm.
“Lis is a highly respected and leading practitioner in life sciences,” Mr Britten-Jones said.
“Her practice is very much aligned with our existing offering and the skill, experience and relationships she has will help us continue to build on the foundations of our existing practice and deepen our relationships with key clients in line with our strategic goals.”
On her decision to join the firm, Ms Boyce said: “I’m excited to join Piper Alderman, which is a great fit in mission, expertise and culture.
