SYDNEY FIRM Makinson d’Apice has appointed Anthony dArbon to its newly created position of CEO.

D’Arbon was previously the head of Macquarie Bank’s Childcare Investments and the CEO of e.law Australia. He also has 12 years’ experience working for Blake Dawson and TressCox, as well as being a former CEO of Acuiti Legal.

D’Arbon said that establishing this senior management position was part of the firm’s strategy to consolidate its recent steady growth in revenue and solicitor numbers, and to move the firm — which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year — to the next level.
