He is chairman of industrial and commercial equipment manufacturer Korvest Ltd and a board member of communications equipment manufacturer Codan Limited.

Thomson Playford’s chairman of partners, Loretta Reynolds, said she was pleased to have someone with such strong business acumen joining the board.

“We are very pleased to have someone of David’s calibre, experience and standing within the business community,” she said.
