EXPANDING ITS Melbourne and Brisbane teams, HWL Ebsworth has appointed two new partners, Gail Owen and Wayne Jenvey.

 
 

Owen joins the firm’s Melbourne commercial group, bringing with her considerable experience in mining and energy law. She has particular expertise in the regulation of the electricity industry, including advice on regulatory instruments, co-generation projects, connection and supply agreements, electricity hedges and REC agreements.

Jenvey joins the firm’s litigation team in Perth. He focuses on the areas of banking and finance and company and insolvency law, and his areas of expertise include asset management and regulatory compliance. He also oversees due diligence undertakings for ASX-listed entities and consults on the resolution of offshore disputes.
