QUEENSLAND FIRM McInnes Wilson Lawyers has expanded its personal injuries expertise with the appointment of special counsel Peter Seymour, associate David Davies and solicitor Phillipa Cairns.

Seymour has over 21 years of personal injuries experience from a number of Brisbane firms. He specialises in plaintiff personal injury litigation, general litigation and mediation.

Davies specialises in personal injuries law and insurance law with a particular focus on spinal and brain injury cases, worker’s compensation and marine and aviation accidents.

Cairns specialises in personal injuries litigation, general litigation and mediation, personal injuries in motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents and criminal compensation.

Seymour, Davies and Cains have all moved across from Gilshenan & Luton’s compensation and insurance practice.

In addition, Caite Brewer has joined the firm as a solicitor in its wills and estates practice. Brewer joins the firm from the estate litigation team at boutique wills and estates firm de Groots. She also previously worked for seven years as a barrister, specialising in commercial litigation.
