NEW ZEALAND firm Buddle Findlay has strengthened its corporate services and financial services teams, having recently appointed two senior solicitors and two solicitors to its Auckland office.

A specialist in corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising, Ash Hill has rejoined the firm’s corporate services team as a senior solicitor. Hill previously worked in a corporate strategy capacity and was most recently involved in establishing a small venture capital fund.

Alastair Pettitt has joined the corporate services (property) team as a senior solicitor. Pettitt has moved across from New Zealand firm Walters Law, but has also previously spent four years as an in-house counsel in the business banking legal team at Barclays Bank PLC.

Paul Easton and Matthew Gibbs have both joined the firm as solicitors, with Easton joining the financials services team and Gibbs in the corporate services team.
