EXPERIENCED BANKING lawyer, Quentin Solomon, has moved from Clayton Utz to join Deacons as a partner in their Melbourne office. Solomon specialises in the financing of major projects in the energy and transport sectors, as well as the restructuring and turnaround of distressed major projects.

During his time at Clayton Utz, Solomon was involved in numerous major transactions including the leveraged finance for the aborted Qantas takeover, the receivership sale of the Dampier to Bunbury natural gas pipeline and the financing of the demerger of Toll Holdings and Asciano.
