FOLLOWING THE recent appointment of Mark Rigotti to the position of managing partner — clients and growth, Freehills has announced that partner Richard Loveridge will take over from Rigotti as the practice group head for the firm’s corporate group.

 
 

Based in Freehills Melbourne office, Loveridge will head up a group of over 250 mergers and acquisitions and corporate legal practitioners throughout Australian and South East Asia.

Loveridge has broad commercial and corporate law experience with particular expertise in securities law. He regularly acts for major clients on matters including public company fundraising, securities matters governed by the Corporations Act, company reorgansiations, joint ventures and matters requiring shareholder agreements, share and business acquisitions and disposals, public company takeover and merger transactions and corporate head office advisory matters.
