GLOBAL FIRM Baker & McKenzie has re-elected John Conroy to a second consecutive three-year term as chairman of the firm’s executive committee.

Conroy has served on the committee since 1998, leading the firm’s implementation of their global strategy. His management accolades include positions as Bakers’ US managing partner in 1999, North American managing partner, chairman of the firm’s global banking and finance steering committee and chairman of the global major projects steering committee.

The firm has also announced the appointment of Peter Engstrom to the executive committee. Formerly managing partner of Baker & McKenzie’s San Francisco/Palo Alto office, Engstrom has vast experience as a strategic thinker and talented leader.

“We are confident Peter Engstrom will be a valued contributor in his new role,” Conroy said.
