PIPER ALDERMAN consultant, Professor Andrew Stewart has been appointed to the John Bray Chair at the University of Adelaide.

 
 

Under the position — named after the eminent jurist and former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of South Australia — Stewart will provide leadership in both research and teaching at the University of Adelaide law school, while continuing his consultancy with Piper Alderman.

With a reputation as one of Australia’s leading experts in the field of labour law and industrial relations, Stewart has been a major contributor to public debate and understanding of the Federal Government’s WorkChoices initiative and has written numerous publications on the policy.
