Providior adds new MD and CEO
Providior has appointed a new managing director and chief executive as part of its five-year strategic plan, in a move that will see the funding business “continue to grow in innovative ways”.
Jo Cope has been promoted to the role of managing director and CEO, having been at the company since 2019. Ms Cope has over 25 years of experience in finance, banking and leadership roles and was responsible for delivering exceptional growth across all aspects of the funding portfolio in her previous role, helping cement the company’s position in the Australian market.

Providior chairman Calvin Treacy said he was excited to secure Ms Cope to lead the company through its next growth phase.
“Jo’s wealth of experience will see Providior’s disbursement funding business continue to grow in innovative ways that meet client’s needs now and into the future,” he said.
“She has been instrumental in evolving our funding model over the past few years, which is why we are very pleased to appoint her to this role.”
Ms Cope added that clients’ needs would remain Providior’s key focus.
