THREE NEW associates — Kate Archer, Alexa Shepherd and Kristine Vale — have been selected from within the ranks of Dibbs Abbott Stillman.

Archer has been with the firm since December 2005. She specialises in property law, especially in relation to all aspects of commercial acquisitions and sales, commercial and industrial leasing, flat-land and strata developments and body corporate issues. Her work has mainly focused on large commercial transactions and leasing.

Shepherd first joined Dibbs in June 2000, and after leaving to work with a top-tier firm, returned in September 2006. She has experience in construction and infrastructure law but her main specialisations are in general corporate and commercial law, mergers and acquisitions and capital raising.

Working in the commercial litigation department, Vale began at Dibbs in July 2002, when she completed her clerkship, and was admitted in 2005. Her particular areas of expertise include litigation and dispute resolution, trade practices, and insolvency — predominantly relating to the winding up of managed investment schemes.

We're evolving — and so should your insights. Heads up — Lawyers Weekly is going premium from 1 May for just $5 a month. Stay informed without missing a beat. More information coming soon.
