The community wardens have been trained by local police to spot incidents of sexual misconduct "which threaten to bring naturism into disrepute". They will be highly visible in bright yellow t-shirts and will work alongside officers from Dorset police. Dorset police sergeant Des Connor said that the Studland Bay community has welcomed naturists for more than 90 years, but these recent incidents threatened their reputation. "We will not tolerate any unlawful behaviour and ask that all residents and visitors to the area respect the naturists and the freedom in which they wish to enjoy life," he said.
