Folklaw has heard it all before: lawyer-turned-journalist (the best kind), lawyer-turned-politician, lawyer-turned-entrepreneur or lawyer-turned-artist. But lawyer-turned-vampire woman? That is something new.

Folklaw has heard it all before: lawyer-turned-journalist (the best kind), lawyer-turned-politician, lawyer-turned-entrepreneur or lawyer-turned-artist. But lawyer-turned-vampire woman? That is something new.

As Above the Law reports, a Mexican lawyer has given herself a whole new look – more than just a new suit in a different shade of grey.

Now known as “Vampire Woman”, 35-year-old lawyer Maria Jose Cristerna has ditched the stereotypical lawyer look for a more extreme style, involving plenty of body ink.

Ninety-eight per cent of Cristerna’s body is now covered in tattoos, and to complete her new guise, Cristerna also wears prosthetic fangs and implants in her forehead to really nail the vampire look.

And yep, she’s still a lawyer.

Folklaw isn’t sure what kind of lawyer Cristerna is, but maybe she gets a lot of work from all the True Blood or Twilight fans out there.

For all lawyers feeling a little bored of the corporate look, check out the photos and video of Vampire Woman at http://abovethelaw.com/2012/01/career-alternatives-for-attorneys-vampire/
