Tragedy has struck our troupe of hardy lawyers shucking, poaching and reducing it out on the phenomenally popular reality TV cooking show, MasterChef.

Let down by his fatally over-poached oysters and unforgivably crunchy onions, Lander & Rogers lawyer Peter Kritikides was eliminated in last night's pressure test, thus extinguishing his dream of becoming the next ordinary-bloke-turned-cooking-legend.

Kritikides is the first of the show's four lawyers to be eliminated, leaving lawyers Adam Liaw and Claire Winton Burn, and law student Sharnee Rawson, to fly the legal profession flag as the final 11 contestants go oven mitt to oven mitt.

Alas, Kritikides is now back at work in Landers' Melbourne office, though word is he is planning to open a providores store sometime in the not-too-distant future.

While Folklaw thinks he was robbed, and that a certain female contestant who almost choked one of the judges by dishing up half an oyster shell with her very average terrine probably should have gone instead, we are very much looking forward to the upcoming Lawyers Weekly interview with Kritikides.
