A long-awaited working holiday has turned awry for an American lawyer and his wife after their real estate agent allegedly used their vacant house to engage in lurid sexual escapades.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Adam and Sarah Bunge had their house on the market when they embarked on their UK adventure, leaving it in the trusty hands of real estate agent Steven Skar.

Unfortunately for the Bunges, Skar decided to test out the 'quality' of the dwelling ... as well as the sheets, beds, chairs, couches, floors and basically any other exposed surface.

"It feels like we have been violated in every sense of the word," said Adam Bunge.

Skar was apparently sprung by some nosey neighbours, who had emailed Bunge to tell him "there was some weird stuff going" at his house, and then knocked on the door to investigate.

Skar answered the door and said he was "cleaning" for an open house before leaving with another man.

Sensing something was up, the neighbours and one of Bunge's relatives entered the house and were shocked by what they saw.

Now, while Folklaw does not wish to expound on what exactly was found in the Bunge household, let's just say it cost $7,500 to clean the house, change the locks, and "replace all soiled items".

Skar has since had his license revoked for engaging "in non real estate-related activities for over four hours without permission, knowledge or consent of the homeowner."

He is also facing a lawsuit from the Bunges, who have been unable to recover from the nasty shock and are staying with family and friends.

"It doesn't feel like it's our home anymore," said Bunge.
