The Associated Press reports that Justice Ann Walsh Bradley accused her colleague on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Justice David Prosser, of channelling Hulk Hogan and placing her in a chokehold after discussions got heated when the seven Supreme Court justices were deliberating over a controversial collective bargaining law introduced by the Republican Governor, Scott Walker.

Prosser is considered to be one of the four conservative judges on the court, with Bradley one of the three minority liberal judges.

After the alleged barney ensued, a complaint was made to the county district attorney. Prosser, who maintained his innocence throughout, was found to have no case to answer by the DA, who is also known to be a conservative Republican.

Although Bradley was on the losing side of the vote - with the Supreme Court publishing an opinion upholding the law and not getting any joy with seeing Prosser charged - she has maintained a stiff upper lip (not, apparently, given to her by Prosser).

She later issued a statement saying she didn't want to see her colleague behind bars, but wanted to address "a workplace safety issue".
