Matthew Beazley is a commercial lawyer who has focused on government, planning and environment law for more than 12 years.
At Norton Rose, Beazley specialised in statutory and strategic planning, environmental law, property law (including compulsory acquisition), governance and water law.
He has appeared as an advocate in the Magistrates’ Court, County Court, Supreme Court, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Building Appeals Board, Planning Panels and Liquor Licensing Victoria.
Beazley was previously a partner at Deacons, which was a predecessor firm of Norton Rose.
He commenced his role at Russell Kennedy on 21 May.
