After nine years as a senior associate at King & Wood Mallesons, Chew has extensive experience in IT, telecommunications, outsourcing transactions, general commercial and IP commercialisation.

Prior to entering the law, he spent 10 years in the IT industry holding positions including manager of online solutions at REACH and manager of the systems and development team at Telstra.

“The global mergers we have witnessed in the Australian legal market have resulted in many senior lawyers finding their client’s needs are no longer the focus of their firm. Many good people are moving to firms that better suit their personal vision, their expertise and their client base… the combination of Richard’s legal and industry experience will really bolster our offering,” said managing partner Tony Phelps
