Effective 9 July 2012, Quirk, formerly of Thomsons and DLA Phillips Fox, joins the practice led by partner Aaron Webb.

Quirk brings with him over 15 years’ experience in planning and environment law, with expertise in the development approval process and enforcement proceedings. He acts for property developers in relation to industrial, commercial and residential projects, as well as infrastructure providers and local government authorities.

He has a particular focus in relation to enforcement and prosecution proceedings for development and environmental offences, acting for both councils and respondents.

“Many of Thynne & Macartney’s clients are increasingly affected by environmental issues, and Tim’s addition reaffirms our commitment to providing creative and commercially-driven solutions for our clients,” said Bill Loughnan, chairman of partners.
