Young joins Hynes after his departure from the Aged Care Association Australia (ACAA) and will work closely with Julie McStay, partner and head of the aged-care and retirement-living team.
He brings to Hynes more than thirty years' experience working in the health and aged-care industries, including ten years in health service management and thirteen years in aged care.
During his career, Young has had experience in managing complicated infrastructure projects, managing a teaching hospital complex, working on health systems redesign and developing health and aged-care policy reform.
“As we have moved through the aged-care reform process, Hynes Lawyers has worked closely with Rod Young in his capacity as CEO of ACAA. We are absolutely thrilled to have Rod join our aged-care team. Rod’s wealth of experience brings even more depth to our team and will enable us to offer a level of expertise in legal services to aged-care providers which we believe is second to none,” said McStay.
