JOHNSON Winter & Slattery has appointed Sar Katdare as a senior associate in its Sydney competition practice. The competition and consumer protection specialist joins JWS from Blake Dawson.

In another JWS coup, a senior associate from Freehills, Jee-Soon Lee, joins the firm's regulatory group and energy and resources in Perth.

A spokesperson for the firm said the firm is doing very well, that "litigation is through the roof" and corporate in Sydney is busy. The New Lawyer has requested interviews with both senior associates and the litigation partner at the firm.
