Blake Dawson partner of seven years, David Clark, will be joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick as a partner from today.

Blake Dawson partner of seven years, David Clark, will be joining Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick as a partner from today (July 1).  Clark will join the Sydney office of POF and is the second lateral partner hire at the firm. POF managing partner, Graham Cowin, welcomed the appointment of Clark: “David has a wealth of expertise in handling both local and international patent clients in a broad range of technologies,” he said. "He will add considerable strength to our Sydney office."In addition to being a registered patent attorney in Australia and New Zealand, Clark is a member of a number of national and international IP associations. His personal credentials include representing New Zealand and Australia in the America’s Cup Challenge series (1986-87 Team NZ and 1991-92 Challenge Australia). Also joining from Blake Dawson is Dr Joe Mok, a trainee patent attorney.
