Two local lawyers, planning and environment experts Brendan Tobin and Ross Mackay, have joined the firm.
Tobin has 10 years' experience in planning and environment law, working for clients across New South Wales. Mackay has strong experience in mining and native title issues.
Infrastructure lawyer Michael Rochester, who heads the Newcastle office, said the firm has seen substantial growth despite the impact of the global financial crisis on the economy.
“Our office is predominantly focused on the resource industry, and the growth we have seen since we opened in January has far exceeded our expectations,” he said.
“We are working on some major projects in the Hunter Valley and Gunnedah basin and the growth is showing no signs of slowing down,” he says.
