Kelly & Co hires former St George chief to head new council

Adelaide firm Kelly & Co has appointed a SA businessman to head up a new formed business advisory council.

Adelaide law firm Kelly & Co has appointed a South Australian businessman to head up a new formed business advisory council.

The new appointment, Rob Chapman, is former chief executive of St George. He recently returned to Adelaide from Sydney is currently on the advisory board of BankSA, where he was managing director for eight years before being promoted to St George.

Kelly & Co. chief executive Stuart Price said the firm’s new business advisory council is aimed at bolstering the firm’s links with the local business community and to provide thought leadership to the partnership and its clients.

Chapman will take up his position on Kelly & Co’s Business Advisory Council from June.

Kelly & Co’s chairman of partners, Jamie Restas, said the firm was looking to appoint several more business leaders to the remaining positions on the Council.
