Adelaide firm hires banking partner from rival
Kelly & Co has hired Johnson Winter & Slattery banking and finance expert Martin Lovell as a partner.

Lovell, who was a senior associate at JWS before his lateral hire and promotion, previously worked at Linklaters in London, and before that Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Melbourne.
Kelly & Co is presenting its new partner as a boost to its baking and finance and projects team.
Lovell has experience acting for banks, sponsors and borrowers on project finance, property finance, general corporate finance transactions and high profile energy and infrastructure projects.
The high achiever has been recognised in Chambers Asia-Pacific (2012) as “an excellent communicator [who is] able to distil complex issues into clear, simple advice” and in the IFLR 1000 (2011) as “highly professional, diligent and practical.”
He also lectures in banking and finance law and property, equity and trusts at Flinders University. He is a member of the Financial Services Committee of the Law Council of Australia.
