G+T poaches from KWM
Gilbert + Tobin has hired Sarah Turner as a corporate advisory partner in the firm’s Perth office.

Turner joins G + T from King & Wood Mallesons where she was a senior associate and her expertise covered a broad range of matters, including securities, takeovers, schemes of arrangement, share acquisitions and general corporate advisory and governance work.
Turner has advised on a number of high-profile transactions, including the Brambles PAITREO, various IAG capital raisings, the Spark Group restructure, the IAG takeover defence against QBE, and the attempted takeover of Qantas by Airline Partners Australia.
Since the partners of Blakiston & Crabb joined G + T in July 2011, the firm’s Perth office has seen rapid growth in its corporate advisory practice. Recent additions to the team include special counsel Jarod Benson, senior associate Kobi Devenish and lawyers Ailyn Choo, Gail Spark, Jessica Karasinski and Katie Davis.
