A municipal court judge in Ohio, the US, ordered a defendant's mouth to be taped shut after he tired of repeated interruptions in court.

Judge Stephen Belden said it was the best way to restore order after Harry Brown, 51, kept interrupting, reports a local newspaper.

Brown complained that his attorney was not prepared for the case.

After a warning, the judge ordered his mouth be taped shut.

When the tape was removed, Brown complained that the judge was not being respectful.
