CBP acquires hot property team
The property team from Sydney boutique Morgan Lewis, including two partners, joined the Sydney office of Colin Biggers & Paisley on 1 July.

Partners Rebecca Breen and Mark Morgan (pictured) brought four support staff and six other fee earners with them, including senior associates Susan Bellamy and Bob Miljevic.

CBP’s managing partner Dunstan de Souza said: "We are delighted and we feel very privileged that these outstanding people have decided to join our firm. They are leading experts in what they do; they have an excellent reputation and a great client base.
"The addition of this new team translates into a 50 per cent revenue growth for our property practice group nationally,” he added. “One of the principles of our long-term strategy is to be a national leader in the field of property law and this expansion of our firm is helping us to achieve that goal."
Earlier this year, CBP enticed government lawyer Frank Krstic to private practice to join its property group.
