Those promoted to principal are: Albert Ferraloro; Chris Juhasz; Craig Humphris; Joe Seisdedos; Jo Woodfield; Linda Kennaugh (pictured), and Marie Wong.

Wrays’ CEO Frank Hurley said: “With more than 100 years of intellectual property experience between them, these practitioners are our new generation of leaders and part of the reason we continue to grow as we provide services at the highest standard and value for money.

“Although we are a mid-tier firm, we are recognised as market leaders in intellectual property because of the depth and breadth of our expertise and the commercially-astute advice we provide across a broad range of technical and legal disciplines.”

Wrays has clients across a variety of sectors, including resources, information technology, pharmaceuticals, defence and aerospace.

The firm also appointed Lara Gun, formerly of Allens, as a senior associate in its Sydney office. Gun brings with her 13 years of intellectual property experience.

“We are now particularly well placed to capitalise on a key business trend in Australia – the recognition of intellectual property as one of businesses’ most crucial assets, which needs to be commercialised and protected,” added Hurley.
