In November 2011, Yan returned to the firm after having spent a number of years in London at Manches LLP, a Chambers and Legal 500 top-ranked family law department.
Yan, who recently became an accredited family law specialist, has wide experience in children’s matters and complex financial cases, including those involving high-net-worth individuals and those with an international dimension.
He aims to bring a pragmatic solution to each case through a constructive but firm approach, while being sensitive to the needs of the client and their families.
Having practised exclusively in family law since 2005, Hargreaves (pictured right) joined Coote Family Lawyers in 2008 as a senior associate.
Hargreaves has extensive experience in children’s matters and all other areas of family law practice. She also has a particular interest in complex property matters, including third party interests, the sale of family businesses and the reorganisation of corporate structures that is often required as a result of the breakdown of a relationship.
Hargreaves is conscious of the difficulties often created as a result of a separation and endeavours to provide her clients with immediate and practical solutions.
She also understands the importance of balancing commercial reality with the need to bring the financial relationship of two parties to an end.
