The general counsel of Bauer Media has been named as the new ACLA president.

Sydney-based Adrian Goss (pictured) has been appointed to the national president’s role, replacing Suzanne Hillier.

 
 

Bauer Media has had a challenging last few months, with cost-cutting measures including a merger of the prominent publications Cleo and Dolly.

Gillian Wong, the manager of legal at mining and resources company St Barbara Limited, has been appointed as the national vice president.

Hillier, who is the general counsel with National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority, was the ACLA president for two years.
