HopgoodGanim gets an energy boost
Two-office national firm HopgoodGanim has appointed a new energy & resources partner in Perth.

Simon Panegyres (pictured) joins the firm from Allion Legal, where he focused on M&A in the energy & resources sector.

Prior to joining Allion in 2009, Panegyres spent more than 10 years at King & Wood Mallesons practising corporate and resources law at the firm’s Perth and Sydney offices. During this time he took a secondment to Woodside Energy, where he held the role of corporate legal counsel.
Panegyres’ appointment brings HopgoodGanim’s national partner numbers to 34 across its offices in Brisbane and Perth.
The firm is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
