Dixon (pictured) has been a partner at Addisons for less than a year. She had previously been a senior associate at the single-office Sydney firm and, prior to that, was a senior associate at Herbert Smith Freehills.

Dixon will officially start her new role at Marque on 31 March. Her M&A experience includes public and private transactions for clients with consumer-facing products and services in the digital economy, telecommunications and IT sectors.

“We’re pretty bloody excited about this,” said Marque’s managing partner Michael Bradley.

“Getting [Dixon] on board is a great coup for Marque. The celebrations will be long and loud.”

Bradley made headlines late last year when the High Court found that he had acted in a way that flies in the face of a lawyer’s ethical obligations.
