Sydney partner to lead new global practice group

The group, known as Global Employer Solutions, will also be led by Rosemary Alito from New Jersey in the US.

The new team offers a cross-disciplinary approach to employment, workplace safety and compliance, as well as many other areas.
It will operate across a number of countries with a view to helping global businesses comply with local laws and regulations across a wide range of jurisdictions.
“Global Employer Solutions responds to the needs of our clients within the global workplace,” said the two co-leaders.
“The workforce risks for global companies have grown exponentially in recent years, and it’s critical for companies operating internationally to take both the global and local view in order to thrive in today’s marketplace,” they stated.
In addition to the new team, K&L Gates has created an online summary of the employment law requirements of nearly 20 countries to help clients navigate this space.
