Oliver Meehan (pictured) started in the newly-created role of general counsel – National at Oxanda Education, a division of Oxanda Capital Management, today (19 January).

Oxanda Education owns and operates dozens of childcare and education centres across the eastern seaboard.

The company is also one of CBP’s clients.

Meehan told Lawyers Weekly he wasn’t looking for a new job, but the opportunity presented itself during regular dealings between the firm and its client.

Meehan was a senior associate at Hemming+Hart Lawyers for two years until the firm was acquired by CBP in November 2013. He was previously a senior associate at Brisbane firm ClarkeKann for five years.
