Worker's comp expert takes on new role with SA judicial appointment
An Adelaide barrister has been appointed deputy president of the South Australian Employment Tribunal.

Margaret Kelly was appointed as a South Australian Employment Tribunal and district court judge in December.

Ms Kelly was admitted in 1981 and practised from Wright Chambers since 1998.
SA Attorney-General John Rau SC, who is also the state Minister for Industrial Relations, issued a statement last month, congratulating the new judge.
According to the AG, Margaret Kelly has extensive experience in worker’s compensation, personal injury, insurance and industrial law.
“Ms Kelly is a well-respected barrister with a strong background in worker’s compensation,” Mr Rau said.
“I look forward to the contribution she will make to the South Australian Employment Tribunal.”
In July last year, the tribunal conferred jurisdictions of the Industrial Relations Court and Industrial Relations Commission.
The tribunal was established mid-2015, with jurisdiction over worker’s compensation disputes under the Return to Work Act 2014.
