Tresscox builds property practice from Mallesons, Rigby Cooke

TressCox Lawyers has hired two new partners from the Melbourne offices of Mallesons Stephen Jaques and Rigby Cooke.

TressCox Lawyers has hired two new partners from the Melbourne offices of Mallesons Stephen Jaques and Rigby Cooke. 


Dan Flynn and Kristina McGeehan-Hall join the firm’s property team.

 

Flynn joins the firm on 1 December from Rigby Cooke. He leaves the door swinging for the rest of his team, and will be joined by legal executive Michael Beaton, property clerk Stephanie Farrugia and the team’s personal assistant Odette Cardilini. Associate Ali Khanbashi will also make the switch.


Flynn has over 18 years experience in all aspects of property law including residential and commercial conveyancing and acting for statutory authorities in all aspects of leasing, licensing, acquisitions and dispositions. He also has extensive experience of acting for private and public companies in commercial retail leasing in addition to acting for private and corporate developers in commercial retail and residential development.  


Joining the firm from Mallesons is Kristina McGeehan-Hall, who brings with her more than 15 years. Prior to working at Mallesons in Melbourne, she was a partner with Minter Ellison in Adelaide.  


McGeehan-Hall advises predominantly corporate clients on acquisitions and divestments of a broad range of property assets, and on the development of strategic sites for industrial buildings, off the plan residential apartment buildings and broad acre mixed use developments. She also has experience in commercial, retail and industrial leasing.
