A former arbitrator at the Workers Compensation Commission of NSW has rejoined Sparke Helmore, where she began her legal career.
Kerry Haddock (pictured) has rejoined Sparkes in Sydney as a workers compensation partner after serving a four-year term as a state arbitrator.

Ms Haddock was previously a legal services manager at Cambridge Integrated Services and an adviser at GIO (Suncorp Metway) Treasury Managed Fund.
She advises on personal injury claims and litigation, including in the areas of workers compensation, common law industrial accidents, workplace injury damages and dust diseases.
“We’re delighted that Kerry is returning to Sparke Helmore, where she began her legal career 35 years ago,” said James Johnson, Sparke Helmore's insurance national practice group leader.
“[She has] extensive workers compensation experience as a lawyer in private practice, in management positions with insurers and, more recently, as an arbitrator in the Workers Compensation Commission of NSW.”
Thirty-five Sparkes lawyers defected to Hall & Wilcox in June, following five partners and a senior associate who left the firm in April. Sparkes has also recently gained two partners and two senior associates from K&L Gates.
