New Year brings new roles for lawyers

An international firm has announced its latest round of senior associate promotions, effective from the start of 2017.

Allens has promoted thirteen new senior associates, who step up in the firm from the 1st of January next year.

The litigation and dispute resolution group enjoy the largest number of senior associate appointments, with five lawyers elevated to the role.

Four promotions have been in the corporate team, while two promotions have been made in the banking and finance and energy, resources and infrastructure groups respectively.

In a statement announcing the appointments, Allens managing partner Richard Spurio described the group as the firm’s “next generation of leaders”.

“We are delighted to support the next generation of leaders at Allens as they advance their careers,” Mr Spurio said.

“Each new senior associate will bring a diversity of ideas, perspectives and experiences to the role as they take the next step in their professional development.”

Next year’s fresh crop of Allens senior associates are: Michela Agnoletti, Tim Farhall, Daniel MacPherson, Jerome Entwisle, Alexandra Doyle, Jonathan Hoe, Lauren McInnes, Rebecca Sheehy, Tom Griffin, David Yang, Gabriela Wilson, Nicola Lord and Oliver Hobbs.
