BEAU DELEUIL has recently been appointed as the partner in change of Mallesons Stephen Jaques Western Australia practice based in Perth.

Deleuil is a partner in the Perth office’s dispute resolution team, specialising in corporate litigation, with particular expertise in insolvency, banking law, competition and regulatory law, and professional indemnity. He will be replacing Andrew Murray who has held the position for the last two years and who will now join the firm’s board. Murray will also continue to head-up the firm’s national resource practice group.

Deleuil, who will take up the position on 1 January 2008, said “the current economic conditions bring both opportunities and challenges at all levels of businesses, including law firms. I look forward to working closely with my fellow partners and management team so that we can continue our delivery of outstanding legal services to all of our clients throughout the region”.
