Holding Redlich has made two senior appointments to the firm’s construction, engineering and projects practice. St John Frawley, who will be based in Melbourne, has joined Holding Redlich as the partner leading the practice. He has more than 14 years experience gained in NSW and Victoria in conducting negotiations and advising on tenders, project delivery methods and the preparation of project documentation. He also has substantial experience in the resolution of complex legal and technical disputes. Before joining Holding Redlich, Frawley was a partner with Sparke Helmore in Melbourne. Working closely with him in the construction practice is Catherine Bell, who has joined Holding Redlich as a senior associate. Her experience and expertise is also in the area of construction and engineering law, including drafting project documentation and conducting negotiations and dispute resolution. Bell, who has over 10 years experience, was previously a senior associate with Sparke Helmore.

Anne Hurley has been appointed as a partner at Hammond Worthington in WA. She was previously a partner at Kott Gunning for 16 years.

The boutique commercial law firm Robert James Lawyers has added a new partner, David Andrews, to head its commercial litigation team. He was previously the senior commercial litigation partner at Holding Redlich and has significant experience in corporate reconstruction and insolvency, intellectual property litigation and advice and franchising dispute resolution.
