Moray & Agnew has further expanded its insurance practice, recruiting two insurance law experts and their team of four to the Brisbane office.

Anthony Henley and Alison Ryder have joined the firm as partners, brining with them senior associates Christine Houston, Nicola Ellis, Jordan Farr and lawyer Erin Irvine.

These latest appointments closely follow those of insurance partner Michael Martin and special counsel Michael Kemp to the Melbourne office.

Henley has specialised in professional indemnity and health law for 17 years. He has defended multi-million dollar economic loss claims against a broad range of professional including brokers, valuers, real estate agents, lawyers, financial planners, surveyors and engineers.

He has also acted in a wide range of medical malpractice claims for general practitioners and specialists, and has extensive experience in coronial inquests, commissions of inquiry and disciplinary matters.

Ryder has more than 13 years experience focusing on public liability, workers compensation, asbestos and other toxic tort litigation.

She has defended large corporations, insurers, Federal Government departments and various statutory authorities.
