Area: Corporate

Key players: Partners Lauren Magraith and Antony Rumboll led the team with associate Daniel McGuiness. Partners David Walter, Georgie Farrant and Bryan Paisley were also involved.

Deal significance: RCR is a diversified engineering and infrastructure company that provides intelligent engineering solutions to the infrastructure, energy and resources sectors.

Under the capital raising terms, RCR Tomlinson made a 1 for 1.65 pro rata accelerated and non-renounceable entitlement offer of new fully-paid ordinary shares at a price of $1.00 per share.

The offer’s proceeds will strengthen RCR’s balance sheet, positioning the business for sustainable growth.

The entitlement offer institutional component closed on 29 August. It was well supported by existing and new institutional investors, according to a statement.

Lead partner Lauren Magraith said the Baker McKenzie team “was delighted to work with our longstanding client Macquarie Capital on what was a very important transaction for RCR Tomlinson.”
