Firm: Norton Rose Fulbright (151 Property) 

Deal: Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised leading real estate portfolio company 151 Property on the sale of Brimbank Shopping Centre in Melbourne’s north west.

The Melbourne and Brisbane-based real estate team advised on all aspects of the transaction, including negotiation, structuring advice, vendor due diligence, and the completion of the sale on 23 December 2019.

Value: Undisclosed

Area: Commercial property. 

Key players: The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by partner Adrian Jones and Will Webster, supported by partner Marshall Bromwich, senior associate Jacqueline Dowling, and associates James Lainas, Kasey Solar and Ellen Whittred. 

Deal significance: The 37,576-square metre Brimbank Shopping Centre is a significant subregional shopping centre, anchored by Coles, Woolworths, Target and Aldi, and approximately 100 specialty retailers.
