The partners at DBH Lawyers have reframed the way they do business and reflected the modern partnership they have with their clients in the rebranding of Duncan Basheer Hannon.

The launch of the new brand will see DBH Lawyers feature in their own advertising, standing side by side with their clients. The campaign will be seen across South Australian television, radio and outdoor advertising.

Partner Amy Nikolovski said the rebranding reflects the partnership the firm has with their clients.

“We’ve been around for more than 50 years and we are extremely proud of our heritage and the services we have provided to the people of South Australia,” she said.

“But a lot has changed, particularly in the last decade. Our clients are savvy, they do their research and they want control over their situation. We bring the legal expertise, but the relationship is a true partnership, and our new brand reflects that.”

It’s not only the brand image and name that’s changed – the vision of DBH Lawyers has also evolved and managing partner Matt DeGregorio said that care is a central theme.

“A lot of legal practices talk about outcomes and financial settlements, and it all seems quite transactional. It’s not at all how we do things. Our clients often come to us because something difficult has happened in their life – a car or work accident, a relationship breakdown or a life changing injury,” he said.

“People want to move on with their lives, whether that takes a couple of weeks or years, and the relationship they have with their lawyer is important. It’s professional but care and compassion are fundamental, and we really wanted to reflect that in our new brand.”

The DBH team has also supported various charities across Adelaide and has been serving local communities since the firm’s early days.

In 2021 they are providing financial support to Catherine House, MND SA and the Mary Potter Foundation as well as sponsoring the Salisbury Football Club, Newton Jaguars Netball Club, Para Hills Cricket Club, and being the major sponsor of the Salisbury Christmas Pageant. Ms Nikolovski is a Catherine House community ambassador and will be taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout on 17 June.

“We’re part of the community and we see first-hand through our work the challenging situations people can find themselves in. We have a strong sense of social justice and are side by side with organisations like Catherine House who are providing much needed services for people who need to find a way forward,” she said.
