K&L Gates partners from across its Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore offices worked together to advise Simmtech Holdings on the launch of its first large-scale printed circuit board factory in south-east Asia.

Deal significance: K&L Gates’ advice spanned structuring, land acquisition, construction, and finance for the project. The new factory should provide jobs for 1,000-plus people and will help solve a worldwide shortage of global chips.
