Pinsent Masons bolsters Sydney practice
Multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has grown its Sydney headcount with a new hire who specialises in financial services.
Melanie Hunter has joined Pinsent Masons as a special counsel in the firm’s Sydney office. Ms Hunter joins from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Ms Hunter has built up an extensive practice that incorporates the full suite of banking and finance matters, including acquisition and property financing, project financing (such as construction and real estate investment funding), acquisition and restructuring of distressed debt portfolios, structuring and documentation of financial standstill and workout arrangements and general corporate lending.
Throughout her career, Ms Hunter has advised global banks on large mixed-use real estate development and construction matters.
Pinsent Masons head of project and finance Jim Hunwick said the appointment of Ms Hunter comes at an opportune time for the firm.
