He is, the firm said in a statement, “well regarded as a veteran of the law; his efficient and knowledgeable approach to client services has seen him involved in highly complex transactions for a range of large Australian corporations, SMEs and high-net-worth individuals”.
Mr Pragnell is the eighth consulting principal that the firm has appointed since the start of the year, following the recent addition of two tax principals from Coleman Greig in June.
He joins Keypoint from Case Law, where he was a partner. He has also served as a special counsel at Allens, Thomson Geer and Turtons.
Mr Pragnell brings “a wealth of property and commercial law expertise” to Keypoint, the firm said, “further strengthening” its national property practice.
Speaking about the appointment, Keypoint chief executive Warren Kalinko said: “Neil’s joining is a wonderful addition to our firm.
“He brings years of experience working across highly complex and niche property and commercial matters, and we are very pleased to be able to offer his complementary expertise to our clients.”
