National law firm Hall & Wilcox has appointed 11 new partners, 22 new special counsel, 27 new senior associates, and promoted 16 people in its senior corporate services team.
Hall & Wilcox has promoted 76 professionals, including 11 to its partnership – marking its largest-ever new partner intake.
The news follows the firm’s hiring of three insurance partners and a team from BigLaw rival Holman Webb in February, the addition of a former general counsel as a defence legal practice head in the same month, and the appointment of a partner in Canberra for its Commonwealth government practice in December.

Speaking about the promotions, the firm’s chief executive partner, Graydon Dowd, said the appointments demonstrated the firm’s growing national presence and ability to respond to clients’ business needs.
